2. Geoffrey Rubens of Gypwic' [Ipswich]
For homage and service, and fine of 1 mark of silver, (1) to (2), piece of land in Westerfeld [Westerfield], lying lengthways between land of John Poperolle on N. and (2)'s land on S., and widthways between land of Ralph Mansard on W. and land formerly of Goding Gagge and of (2) on E.; to hold of (1) and heirs, paying annually accustomed services to chief lords of fee, viz. 3d. (¾d. at feasts of Easter, Nativity of St John the Baptist, St Michael and Christmas), and to (1) and heirs for warranty 1 clove at feast of Circumcision, for all services, suits of court and secular demands. Warranty clause. Witnesses: John de Westerfeld, Ralph Mansard, Richard de Bosco, John le Meneter, William de Scrilbe, Simon de Aula, William the clerk of Reyscemere [Rushmere], Alan Julian, Richard Duve, Richard Scroth, William Baldewin, Goding Gagge and many.
