| Many thanks to Tony Warner and his mum for these they are
great and we could do with more of this kind of personal
bits and pieces from all over the family. They add to our
knowledge and make our ancestors seem a little closer. |
| The inventory was sent by Naisby Noble:
I
have attached a copy of the two receipts from Robert Sempers of
Sheffield for furniture and linens in 1915. One is addressed to
Chas. Gagg (my Grandfather) and the other to Mrs Gagg (my
Grandmother). Robert Sempers was actually Gran's elder brother
who set up what became a thriving business in Sheffield. As you
can see they must have bought basically the contents of their
house when they married.
